Beauty, brains, and soundness. We focus on structure, temperament, and health, because we believe a Poodle should not only look the part but also move well, think clearly, and live a long, happy life.
Every breeding is planned with purpose, using parents who embody what we love most about the breed. Our goal is always to raise puppies that grow into confident, healthy dogs, thriving as family companions, show dogs, or working partners.
Meet The Breeders
We’re Maddy and Kayle Thomas, two sisters from North Carolina who have always shared a love for dogs. Poodles quickly became a big part of our lives and something we became extremely passionate about!
Versatility, Proven Through Titles
Poodles are bred to work and we’re dedicated to honoring that legacy. Through rally, obedience, Fast CAT, barn hunt, weight pull, nose work, conformation, and more, our dogs prove their versatility, intelligence, and drive. Every title they earn is more than just a ribbon; it’s a tribute to their history and a testament to their ability to thrive in any role.

At Portside Poodles, we do things a little differently. We’re not just breeding dogs, we’re raising the next generation of happy, healthy, and well-rounded Standard Poodles. Our focus is on doing things the right way, not the fast way. We are focused on breeding excellence.
That means investing time and care in every aspect of our program, from health testing and structure to temperament and early socialization. From the moment they’re born, our puppies are raised with intention. We get to know each puppy's personality and work closely with each family to ensure a great fit.
We also provide guidance, education, and ongoing support long after the puppies go home, because we want every Portside Poodle to thrive, not just in our care, but in yours.
